🎉 Happy Birthday Aaron!

This month we’re celebrating the birthday of our fantastic Lettings Director Aaron Manley! 🎂

Aaron is a familiar face to our landlords and tenants and somehow still finds the time to run The Hare & Hounds pub in Withington alongside his work at Mannleys. His energy and commitment are a huge part of what makes our lettings service shine.

Please join us in wishing Aaron a very happy birthday and thanking him for everything he does for our clients and the local community.

🎉 Happy Birthday Jo!

September was a special month for our wonderful Sales Progressor Jo Mee, who celebrated her birthday!

Jo is the friendly voice (and relentless emailer!) working tirelessly behind the scenes – chasing solicitors, keeping chains moving and updating our clients so property sales complete as smoothly as possible.

We couldn’t do it without her dedication and hard work, so please join us in wishing Jo a very happy birthday and thanking her for everything she does for our sellers and buyers alike.

🎉 PRINGO NIGHT

On Friday 19th September, Mannleys were out in full force at Ellerdine Village Hall for a very important mission: Pringo – yes, that’s Prosecco and Bingo – all in the name of raising funds for Rowton Church.

The event was expertly organised by Hilary Mann, our illustrious leader Chris Mann’s wife, and let’s just say, she didn’t disappoint. From the very first “B-12” to the final glass of bubbly, the drinks flowed as freely as the laughter, and the prizes practically jumped into people’s hands (sometimes literally).

Our team were well represented, dabbers at the ready, eyes on the prize, and possibly a little distracted by the sparkling wine – but all in the best of fun! Stories of near misses, accidental wins, and cheeky nibbles made the night one to remember.

A huge thank you to Hilary for organising such a fabulous evening and to everyone who joined in. Great fun was had by all, and all for a brilliant cause – raising much-needed funds for Rowton Church.

Hilary said "Thank you all for coming! We raised a brilliant ….. £1,636.04 for Rowton church and what a giggle everyone had 👏"

Mannleys may have come for the bingo, but we stayed for the prosecco… and maybe a bit of glory!

I don't think that's what the dabbers are for Roger and Chris!!!

Artificial intelligence is starting to shape the way people sell, buy, rent and let homes. Used well, it can make the moving process smarter, faster and more connected.

As we move through May 2026, buyers are seeing more homes come to market, but affordability still matters. Here is what today’s mix of greater choice, steady demand and higher mortgage costs means if you are planning a move.

Welcome to this month’s property market update from Mannleys Sales & Lettings. Here’s a roundup of where things stand right now — and what to keep an eye on in the coming months.

As the World Cup captures attention across the country, it would be easy to assume the property market has pressed pause. With all eyes elsewhere, some sellers may be tempted to wait until the noise settles before making their move. At Mannleys Sales & Lettings, we believe this could be exactly the moment for the smart seller to get ahead.
