Mannleys Moments: News & Highlights from Your Local Property Experts

Welcome to Mannleys Moments, your go-to update on everything happening in and around Mannleys Sales & Lettings. From local community events and team milestones to exciting property news and behind-the-scenes highlights, we’re here to keep you in the loop.

🏡 Big News, Telford… Mannleys Has Officially Made It Onto the New Telford Monopoly Board! 🙌

That’s right — the brand-new MONOPOLY: Telford & Wrekin Edition has officially launched, celebrating the landmarks, local heroes, and thriving businesses that make our borough such a special place to live, work, and play.

We’re incredibly proud that Mannleys Sales & Lettings has earned a place on the board, joining some of Telford and Wrekin’s most iconic names and destinations — from Ironbridge and The Wrekin to Wellington Market and Harper Adams University.

The new edition, unveiled just in time for Christmas 2025, brings a truly local twist to the world’s most famous board game. Players can buy, sell, and build their way across familiar Telford favourites using bespoke notes featuring The Iron Bridge and hot air balloons. Even the Community Chest and Chance cards have been given a local makeover — including one that fines players for disrespecting the Thomas Telford Statue!

Ben Ladd Gibbon from Winning Moves UK, the game’s creators, said:

“The board is a celebration of everything Telford and Wrekin. We’ve been spoilt for choice putting this edition together.”

Telford & Wrekin Mayor, Eileen Callear, added:

“Seeing Telford and Wrekin come to life on a Monopoly board is a moment of real pride for our community. It celebrates the places, landmarks, and stories that make our borough so unique.”

At Mannleys, we couldn’t agree more. As a proudly local independent estate agent, we love helping people make their move across this incredible area — and now, we’re thrilled to be part of its very own Monopoly legacy.

And now for the fun bit…

💸 Guess what square we landed on?

SUPER TAX! 😂
We always said we were top value — turns out Hasbro agrees!

Thinking of putting your home on the market soon? If you’re aiming to list within the next 90 days, this guide is for you. Here’s how to sharpen your strategy so you don’t just sell, you get the sale you want.

It’s every landlord’s worst nightmare – a tenant who stops paying rent. Missed payments can quickly impact your cash flow, create stress, and, if not handled correctly, lead to lengthy disputes.

At Mannleys Sales & Lettings, we are committed to ensuring every tenant enjoys a safe, healthy, and well-maintained home. The upcoming reforms in the Renters’ Rights Bill – Awaab’s Law and the updated Decent Homes Standard – will be transformative for the private rented sector, and for letting agents and landlords alike.
