Christian’s California Adventure
Christian has been making the most of the holiday season with an incredible tour of California. From exploring San Francisco and Alcatraz, to whale watching in Monterey, to relaxing family time in Ventura and San Diego, it’s safe to say he’s returned refreshed and full of stories.
Chris Mann’s Well-Deserved Break
Chris also enjoyed a welcome family holiday in the sun, spending some well-earned time in Paphos, Cyprus. The trip provided the perfect opportunity for relaxation, spotting local wildlife, and making memories with his loved ones. After some quality downtime, Chris has returned refreshed, recharged, and ready for the busy months ahead.
Millie’s Recharge Time
Millie took a little time off too – a well-earned breather to rest and reset (and we’re pleased to report she’s back in full swing!).
Exciting Transformation for Wellington Market
As a local business based right here in Wellington, just a stone’s throw from the market, we’re delighted to see the long-awaited refurbishment of Wellington Market officially underway. This iconic building is at the heart of the town, and its transformation is set to safeguard its future for generations to come.
Local contractor Pave Aways Ltd has begun the enabling works, with plans carefully shaped by trader feedback to ensure the market remains open throughout the 12-month project. While some traders will temporarily relocate, new signage will guide shoppers, and support from Telford & Wrekin Council will ensure minimal disruption.
The refurbishment will not only preserve the market’s historic character but also create a modern, vibrant hub for retail, food, and leisure. Highlights include a redesigned layout for easier access, upgraded facilities, a refreshed food court, and a covered outdoor space for events.
For us at Mannleys, this regeneration is fantastic news – a revitalised market will further enhance Wellington’s appeal, supporting independent businesses and drawing more people into the town. It’s another sign that Wellington continues to go from strength to strength, making it an even more attractive place to live, work, and invest.
We’ll be keeping a close eye on progress over the coming months, but for now, it’s great to see this exciting chapter begin for our local community.
