Meet Matt – Mannleys’ New Branch Valuer
At Mannleys Sales & Lettings, we are thrilled to introduce our newest team member, Matt, who joins us as our expert branch valuer. With a wealth of experience in the property industry and a passion for delivering outstanding service, Matt is a fantastic addition to the team.
Matt’s journey in the property world began in Scotland, where he managed properties for a private estate. This role provided him with invaluable insight into property management before he transitioned into financial advising, refining his expertise over many years.
In 2015, Matt took a bold step and launched his own family-run estate agency in South Worcestershire. Over the next seven years, he successfully grew his business, gaining a deep understanding of the housing market and earning a stellar reputation for his knowledge and customer-focused approach. In 2022, seeking a new adventure and the opportunity to be closer to family, Matt relocated to Shropshire. Here, he worked with a green energy company alongside EPC surveyors, further broadening his skill set.
Despite his success in other industries, Matt’s passion for property never faded. In 2025, he made the exciting decision to return to estate agency, bringing his extensive experience and dedication to the role of valuer at Mannleys. His keen eye for property potential and commitment to helping clients make informed decisions make him an invaluable asset to our team.
Beyond his professional achievements, Matt leads a vibrant life outside of work. A dedicated rock musician, he plays lead and rhythm guitars in local bands, showcasing his artistic side. He’s also a self-proclaimed baking enthusiast, frequently experimenting in the kitchen and even considering applying for The Great British Bake Off!
Family is at the heart of everything Matt does, and with 10 grandchildren (yes, he doesn’t look old enough!), he cherishes the time spent with his loved ones.
